Hyperspin MAME games and Wheel

Hi, I'm experiencing two problems and I can't figure out what's going on. First when I check "roms only" on the wheel option on HyperHQ, Hyperspin won't take me to the Mame wheel. And the second problem is stranger, When I try to load some roms using MAME I get an error message telling me that are roms missing, but they run perfectly when I run them from Hyperspin. For example if I try to any Samurai Shodown game straight from MAME they won't run at all, even if I switch to the Neo-Geo bios. Any ideas of what is going on?

To use the ROMs only filter you must set the Mame ROM path and extension in HyperHQ. The other issue may be because you either don't have the chd's or you have not set your ROM path in the mame ini. You only need set that if you run games from mame but don't if using RL

Whoops, thanks. I had set the ROM extensions for every other system except for mame. I'm kinda new to Mame and I've been using Hyperspin only to launch console emulators, so I don't understand what the "sets" are supposed to do or what Hyperspin doesn't lack which let's me run mame roms without any problems.
