Final burn alpha what does it play?

i have never used final burn alpha but wondered does it play any games that mame does not? What exactly is the difference in games it supports? Thanks Jim

From what I understand it was just a different emulator that does the same as mame but requires less system resources. It was good for low power computers back in the day but these days any computer can run Mame just fine. There's really no reason to run FBA these days. If you have a game that runs slow in Mame, chances are it will run at full speed in FBA but if that's the case, maybe you should be looking to buying a better computer instead.
