Getting tabbed out while playing

When playing a fighting game either in MAME or Mugen it seems I get tabbed out of game and put back at hyperspin wheel. It only happens when playing VS and it's button smashing. I know that alt+tab would do this but I don't know of any other button combo that does the same. The game keeps running in background I just have to tab into it which sometimes makes it crash.

Hyperspin is running on windows vista and I can share any ini files as needed

Any one have any thoughts as to why this happens?

Check your "exit script key" in HyperlaunchHQ. It sounds like you're accidently triggering that.

So I just got home loaded up my system, and sure enough P1 second button is "S" and the 7th extra button is set to "Q" when checking the exit script key its set to "~q & ~s". When button smashing it triggers that.

Question can this exit script be set to Esc just like exitting game or is that a bad idea?

Also Toggle Cursor Key can/should that be set to esc also, its default to e and t, my P3 one of the buttons is E, but doesnt seem that anything is tied to T so i think im safe there.

Just wanted to say thanks, that seemed to be my problem. Hopefully this weekend i can get some friends over again to try to button smash again to hopefully not get tabbed out.
