JDarcade
So I'm hoping to setup Pinball arcade and I'm too tired or just confused. Have been been successful with adding MAME SNK etc. does anyone one know how to start. Like I have been doing is starting in hyperhq. Do I set it up there and make it the exe vs a wheel ? And help would be awesome so can stop banging my head on the wall ha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Metalzoic
Did you already follow my tutorial here? It will work perfectly for TPA up to version 1.50.10 before they changed TPA to the new, absolutely horrible UI. I quit working on this module after that. However there was a new module being tested on the RL forums that hasn't rolled out officially yet for the new UI version.

And that's just setup the emulator right? I'm just having a brain fart to have it show wheels and get the options to find roms etc. I think I'm just over thinking and confusing my self. Thanks for replying finding your post has me wanting to add pinball to my setup. Just hope I can get it all setup. There is no emulator. TPA is a PC game. So long as you have version 1.50.10 and nothing at all newer that tutorial and directions should work... Unless they changed something in Rocketlauncher to make it no longer work. Or are you asking how to even set it up in Hyper HQ? -If you want it to be its own wheel that launches directly into the tables (like in the tutorial), then you just set it up like any other wheel in HyperSpin and RocketLauncher. -If you just want to launch it as any other PC game then you wouldn't add it as a wheel itself. you would just add it into your existing PC games wheel. EDIT: If you don't already have a PC/Steam Games wheel setup or don't know how to setup PC games that is an entire other thing to learn and figure out first. There are quite a few topics on here you could search for to help you out (try searching for Steam Wheel Creator, PC Games etc...). If that's the case it might be easier to follow my tutorial above as it doesn't require you setting up a PC Games wheel first.

Yes this is what I would like to do. I don't have any computer games setup. I'm kinda old school I guess haha really just have setup MAME, SNK, NES, SNES. And like all the themes you uploaded like that look. So that's my plan. I'm just want it setup correctly in HQ so will work with your tutorial. JDarcade
I did something wrong I have the wheels and when I try to play a game I get this error Could not find a Rom_Extension for Pinball Arcade in either of the two files E:\RocketLauncher\settings\Pinball Arcade\Emulators.iniE:\RocketLauncher\settings\Global Emulators.ini Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JDarcade
Oh crap I bet that because I didn't add that in the UI. What files would be the roms the .rez or .csv?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Metalzoic
Your last couple posts sound like you didn't actually follow my tutorial. There are no roms... it's a PC game. 1st make sure you have Pinball Arcade version 1.50.10. Nothing different. Especially nothing newer. Then Read through the tutorial once, then follow it exactly step-by-step. And like the guide says also read the module notes. Also reading through the tutorial topic may answer a bunch of other questions that pop up.
JDarcade
Okay will delete and try over again and see if I can find the spot I messed up. JDarcade
Okay now when I select a game or well any game it launches but just goes to the main menu like tables login etc not to the tables. And one other odd thing it puts my computer volume to 1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Could be caused by you running the DX11 version, but having your settings set to the DX9 version or vice versa. Can also be caused if you didn't follow the instructions for All-Tables/Table_List exactly. Can also be caused if you are running an older version of TPA instead of 1.50.10 exactly (or a newer one to I imagine). For the volume you can try turning mute on fade back to false.
