metroplex2k7 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Ok, having controller issues with a couple systems. Sega Model 2 (latest version) - I go to "game", hit "configure controls", and nothing happens... Sega Model 3 (supermodel .2) - I can't access a menu to setup the controller - the joystick jerks to the left on occasion. HyperSpin - When using my xbox360 controller, the wheel will skip 2-3 systems when I move up or down, any way to make it go 1 system at a time? Also... Cant get CPS2 to run. What is the best emulator to use to run it? Also, when I run it in Mame, it says I'm missing ROMs/CHDs. I got a fullset from some paradise site. Any recommendations? Im using Demul.7 for Naomi and Atomiswave... I cant get it to go fullscreen in RL, even though it is set to fullscreen, also, it keeps saying I'm missing bioses... here's what I got, anyone know whats missing? naomi naomi2 naomigd airlbios f355bios f355dlx hod2bios awbios Thanks for any and all help.
gigapig Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Sega model 2 you need to have a game running to set the controls. Sega model 3, search for the SupermodelUI and use that to set controls. You can't really control Hyperspin with a controller without using a keymapper. Use joytokey and follow this guide. Can't help with CPS2. For Demul try hitting alt-enter to go fullscreen and point to your mame roms for the bios files.
metroplex2k7 Posted June 4, 2017 Author Posted June 4, 2017 If a game has to be running to get fullscreen in Sega Model 2, wont that affect it when running in HyperSpin? Thanks for the SM3 & HS help. Much appreciated.

Again you must have a game running to set the controls.
metroplex2k7 Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 Sorry, I confused it with Demul. Whenever I try to run a game using Demul (even though I have already set the controls and fullscreen in the emulator itself... when I run it through RL or even HS, the Demul window pops up and doesnt go fullscreen, or remember the controls I set.

Did you set full screen in RLUI? What controller are you using?
metroplex2k7 Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 Hmmm, not sure how to set fullscreen in RLUI. Using an Xbox360 controller.

metroplex2k7 Posted June 6, 2017 Author Posted June 6, 2017 Does it work with the latest version of Demul (7)?

Ok, I have been using the JoytoKey guide you mentioned above, and I have followed it step by step. However, I'm stuck on step 9. It doesn't have HyperSpin in the top or bottom panel. The top panel has RL, RLUI, and Default... the bottom panel has nothing. What to do? Also, I'm really having trouble with CPS2. It works fine with Winkawaks (but you can only go fullscreen and load controller settings if a game is loaded. With RetroArch, it doesn't load, and with MAME, it says there ae ROMs/CHDs missing. Which is the best for running in HS? and if it's RA or Mame, what am I missing? My CPS2 set is 242 roms
metroplex2k7 Posted June 6, 2017 Author Posted June 6, 2017 So do I look for cps2 v. 185? Is that a thing? Cause I have the mame .185 set.

Step 9 is relating to checkingthe box to start J2K in minimised mode, you need to check this box for every profile you create.

metroplex2k7 Posted June 6, 2017 Author Posted June 6, 2017 I did, the options were default, RL, & RLUI...
