The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hyperspin Device Support.. 'Does it work on mine? Does it work on mine? Does it work on mine?.. Are we there yet?' video confirmation.. Seeing is believing.

Hey.

Not sure if we have one of these, but I'm curious to know if there is a device support thread for knowing what devices support Hyperspin and what status they hold,

ie:

-Working completely.

-Boots but with issues. (Can be rectified with a separate thread.)

-Not working.

The only reason I ask is because I'm starting to see more devices using Hyperspin and not using an nvidia processor as the main GPU.. And to me this is what I love about Hyperspin so much, hence my thinking to creating this database and only because I'm not aware of any others floating around here..

So, in short, please add a device you come across, with some details about what it's running on, with other helpful details like OS and HARDWARE SPECS/GPU (if available) and if you have one, a video link for all to see.. Or a favourite review..

Now a couple of rules have been made clear to me..

Firstly. You need to stipulate what system we are dealing with, ie. IPhone ovah 9000s for example. Specs can be included for proprietary systems for clarification. However, please list the main system at least, along with GPU, as this seems to be a key thing regarding system support for supported devices as you will soon discover. Also, provided there isn't any illegal critters innit, add the website of the source information to the device, to make things a little simpler.

As an example,

IPhone ovah 9000+ edition..

Website: www.thisisnotarealphone.com

(website is bogus to provide example of layout format.... And you never know who will actually click on this link to see if it's real or not).

Status: Working completely, for example.. If not working, please explain where issue occurs and if necessary, start a new thread in support to get some other people round here.. To give you a hand or steer you in the right direction for a solution..

Now, if your problem is solved or a solution is provided, please correct your post to reflect this as it will make Hyperspin seem like a dick, and we don't like people calling Hyperspin a dick.. Do we?

So please be courteous and let's make this place awesome for all.

Nextly, if you have a video of said device working with hyperspin, please be aware of one major rule, being:

HYPERSPIN-FE doesn't take too kindly to varmants postin' all kiensa eeh "stuff that ain't quiet leagul n thaaat".. So please, in short, we don't mind the videos, no links to UNACCEPTABLE AND ILLEGAL CONTENT, ROMS, AND DOWNLOADS. If necessary, download video, edit if neccesary, and then upload to a google drive or external source OUTSIDE OF the videos source as even 3rd party application of a web link can reflect badly upon our group and we don't want NO TROUBLE ... IN THEEEEEZZEEE PARTS. Ennnn fair warning has been provided.. So lookout!!!!

SOooo, just remember, keep your hands and head within the Cart, no eeleagul sturrfss linked to your video and have a good time.

OK.. Let's get this party started with a bang..

PC (queue origin story here)..

Most PCs are quite capable of running Hyperspin.. Not all operating systems are though. Windows seems to be the most abundant for this frontend, however I have seen Linux VirtualMachine a session of hyperspin.. And it seems to be quite acceptable.

NVIDIA (Shield (TV to some), Portable and Tablet)

Nvidia shield tablet

Nvidia shield portable..

Mad Catz MOJO. (No video, so far)

Suggested support within forum.. Speculated issues, uncertain (90% confirmed..). Have seen sites selling mojo advertising hyperspin as a selling point for mojo.

If anyone wanted to make a video of the mojo playing or booting hyperspin.. Please go right ahead.

GPD Win, with a cousin called the pocket, which is also rumoured to do the same with similar specs, possible upgrade to pocket in the rumoured near future with bigger screen and faster cpu.

UPDATE:GPDWIN 2 Is soon to hit the market near the end of 2017. So only time will tell what support this will offer for Hyperspin.

Found a list of nvidia based products with flash support up to 10.1

https://web.archive.org/web/20131004002414/http://www.nvidia.com/object/gpus_supporting_adobeflash.html

I'll presume there are more devices that do have nvidias seal of flash approval too, but I couldn't see them on this list or nvidia may have changed their information regarding this.

Also here are some other devices with native flash support which could prove handy.

Hope this helps anyone building a cabinet or not using nvidia based equipment.

Just a heads up, what specs is everyone using for their machine in terms of graphics (I'm expecting s barrage of shield users to litter the streets here) as it would be interesting to hear about what GPU you're using.. And if you had any issued running hyperspin.

Thanks.
