demonseed Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Hey Guys I upgraded from .151 to .189 in mame. have MAME wheel working, however when I click Genre categories I only have "All Games" . How do I set up the genres? I checked in Databases/Mame and I have mame.xml and numerous category ones in the same folder ie) Wrestling Games.xml etc.... I am not understanding why it is not working. Also wondering how to filter out Non working games, majohong, card games etc...
ci2own Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 You can do it using Split HyperList from Dons Tools. Download the mame.xml you want (mahjong, nomahjong, casino, no casino, etc) and split it into genres with this tool.
