The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Have you thought about running the Mame core from within retroarch? Retroarch comes with shader support built in, and I'm pretty sure the actual shader setup is a bit more straightforward than doing it in standard Mame. I would recommend the crt-geom shader myself.

As I have said.....I don't know anything about mame, other emulators, hyperspin etc. I have no idea what mame core is, I have no idea what Retroarch is, i have no idea what shader is......so no, I haven't thought about it........

That is a good idea but maybe a little advanced for some,  even with a little emulator knowledge. Nothing we can't guide someone through though.

Xixit could also watch my old video on setting up glsl in RLUI.

The mame i downloaded doesn't look like that, and the one I got from the "Drive build" was completely different too....

In what way? In this video you see a few things:

1. The game

2. The bezel (the border around the game; to be downloaded and installed separately)

3. GLSL shader effects (scan lines and screen curving; to be configured separately)
