The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Now that I have win7 64 bit installed along with all other Hyperspin, Hyperlaunch etc apps updated as well, Can someone quickly talk me through how to setup the shell - Getting the hyperspin to boot up when turning on the machine. I will also like to press F12 as an example to get into windows 7 should i need to access that when in Hyperspin.

Please let me know.

Thanks so much!

Run a program automatically when Windows starts

Windows 7 More

If you always open the same programs after starting your computer, such as a web browser or an e‑mail program, you might find it convenient to have them start automatically when you start Windows. Programs or shortcuts placed in the Startup folder will run whenever Windows starts.

Click the Start button Picture of the Start button , click All Programs, right-click the Startup folder, and then click Open.

Open the location that contains the item you want to create a shortcut to.

Right-click the item, and then click Create Shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the same location as the original item.

Drag the shortcut into the Startup folder.

The next time you start Windows, the program will run automatically.

Note

You can also make an individual file, such as a word-processing document, open automatically by dragging a shortcut of the file into the Startup folder.

http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?14319-HyperSpin-Shelled-on-Windows-7-Solved-and-Working!&highlight=shell+windows

I followed this post and got it shelled completely. It details it all very well, and if you read it carefully and follow it you should be fine. I did a custom boot loading screen and log out image, with all windows icons deleted as mentioned in that post.

I have my system set up so that I never see any trace of windows unless I want to. In that case, I grab my wireless keyboard and Alt+F4 Hyperspin out. Then Ctrl+Alt+Del and run explorer.exe to bring windows back up for configuring my machine.
