Hello to everyone,

  First time posting for me. I came here to help with the build of a bar top cabinet for my son's christmas present.

I have the cabinet all put together already and have an old dell xps core2 duo with an nvidea GT610 GPU to run it all.

I am expecting to have a bit of an effort on my hands to get everything up and running, hopefully Hypersync will sort me out, It looks like it will be worth taking out platinum membership for!

You have the best thing by starting early. Sync will get you a good portion but its not perfect.

My only suggestion would be to keep your romsets small and build on them. Get it all working way before Xmas then add more games in at the end.

Platinum gives more perks than sync. Check out Gigapigs build in the Plat section if you do upgrade.

Thanks for the advice. Yes you are right and I will keep the rom sets quite small to begin with. There are a few classics I would consider essential alongside some of the old console classics from the sonic/mario era and then I'd like some pinball tables. If I can get all that up and running I will be a happy man! :)
