Special artwork will not disappear from Atari 7800, even after deleting

I'm trying to update my special artwork to something better, and while troubleshooting this issue, I actually renamed the entire \Media\Atari 7800 directory to R:\Arcade\Media\1Atari 7800. All of the artwork is gone, but the special art is still showing up. I'm at a loss - the old stuff is still showing up somehow. Any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: the Main Menu and Atari 7800 are somehow linked. If I rename the main menu, the Atari 7800 special artwork works as expected. But if I then rename the main menu back, it uses what is in the Atari 7800 folder.

Inside HyperHQ there is a setting where it might be using the default which draws I believe from the Main Menu\Images\Special Folder?
