Well, I've got the emulator (PCSXE) and some ROMs. I've set-up all the folder correctly, but when I go into the games wheel for Playstation, it just shows Castlevania over and over and over again (I don't even have that ROM).

How do I fix this?

Castlevania is just Hyperspin's example game for Playstation.

The list of games that show up in the wheel is pulled from the xml file for that system. It will be at: /Hyperspin/Databases/Playstation/Playstation.xml

In order to create an xml file with just the games you have you can download the Rom2XML program here -> http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6734

Just point the program to the directory your games are in and tell it to save the file in the directory I gave above.

Well, the menus all work now, but I can't get the games to load. I have a feeling it would work if they were all the same extension, but they aren't. I've got CCDs, ISOs, and BIN/CUEs. I tried converting them to eachother, but then the emulator doesn't load them. Is there any way to make Hyperloader try several different extensions?

I would try going into HyperHQ and find the Playstation Wheel Settings. Where it says "Extensions:" type all the extension types you want it to detect. For example I have "cue, iso" in mine.

Hi im new here. im trying to config DAEMON tools to work with epsxe and i need it to boot games using DAEMON tools because of the music tracks on some games. i figured out how to change the format of the audio files so they will work in epsxe but only when booted by DAEMON tools. im hopping some one a pro at this. can give me a solid answer on how to make that work. because it not only solve that problem but for other games that dont boot up right. ive gotten Twisted Metal 4, Dead or Alive and pepsiman some of the titles i know that the music doesnt work right to work with epsxe.

CD Based games need a .CUE file to tell DAEMON tools where to find the audio tracks on the (virtual) disc. If you have changed the format of the audio tracks (I'm guessing .mp3 to .wav) you will need to edit your .CUE file to reflect those changes. Just open the .CUE with notepad and change the extensions for the tracks.

Other than that, just make/download images that are already correct (.bin+.cue dumps are the best)
