Jimmi1271 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I'm running the latest version of Hyperspin with Rocketlauncher and have most of my emulators up and working (Kega Fusion is giving me fits but that's another thread) but I have a few issues I'm trying to work through. I'm testing in one emulator until I get this all right (Nestopia running NES). Upon launch the theme videos that are preloaded run in Hyperspin for any system. The preloaded video for the one game that came with the load runs within the Nintendo system on the wheel (10 Yard Fight). I downloaded the MP4s from Emumovies using their sync tool and have placed them all in the same default directory with the one that does work resides. When I select the system and move through the title wheel the videos are not running. I assume it's a setting I am missing somewhere but I read through every video related case on the forum I could find and have not found an answer. I did the basics and confirmed file names matched properly and assumed that since the one is set to run that I wouldn't have to make adjustments in HyperHQ. Am I missing something? Any inputs would be more than appreciated. UPDATE - So I've confirmed that if I set HyperHQ to start on a random game that it will play the video from that game. When I move between games on the wheel it will not bring the video up for the next one. I've confirmed it both with the NES wheel and the MAME wheel so I assume it must be a setting somewhere that I'm missing. Thanks in advance.
volumetric Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 In hyperhq there is a setting, I think it's reload theme or something similar. Try checking that and see what happens. If it's not reload theme, it's another setting close to the reload setting. Sorry it's been awhile since I dealt with this problem.
Jimmi1271 Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 In was in HyperHQ under Navigation/Themes and was the "Reload Background" checkbox. Thank you for the help
volumetric Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Excellent, knew the word reload was involved in some way.
Jimmi1271 Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Normally I'd just start checking options to see what they did but I decided to try and be patient for once and what do ya' know, it actually paid off .... Cheers
