Hyperspin Sound Stutter and other issues

Using MAME64 0.191 at the moment. Haven't used it in quite awhile, so I'm not sure when this issue appeared. (Yes I know MAME 0.191 is rather newer, but I downloaded and installed it, didn't tested right away until this week) 

As I mentioned sound stutters on EVERY game, badly too. It plays fine, but not the sound. Checked under F11 I'm getting 68% in Tempest for example. When tested in MAME UIFX 64 0.163 No issues whatsoever F11 in Tempest shows 100%

PC Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, 4GB ram GeForce 670 Win7 64.

I know I didn't have that problem before in Hyperspin. 

Another problem with Hyperspin it freezes, randomly, does all sorts of odd ball things For example will get stuck on a one game preview and won't stop, it will just keep reloading that preview, won't let me go up or down. Will freeze on exiting a game, but after letting me move few previews up or down. Will scroll, but will randomly stop loading video previews. It will load some and some will not, eventually will just freeze. I get no issue in either MAME UIFX64 0.163 or MAME UI 64 0.173

Last question, I can't find any new answers on Google. Is Windows 10 ok with Hyperspin? And specifically HyperHQ? I read everywhere that it hangs and you have to set up everything through ini. Is that still the case?

Hyperspin is fine with Windows 10. Well unless I am the only one with it working fine... 

As for your performance issues, have you checked anything is getting bottle-necked in your task manager for windows?

Memory or CPU is what I would be looking at.

Also Issues with your system 'freezing' sounds like its lost focus after exiting emulation. 

Maybe check the Optimizer section in the Main Settings in HyperHQ and lower the quality some, also allow for High CPU Priority.

 

Last thing do you have any other tasks that are running when you are playing. Virus scanners etc?
