Peliculon Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Hi, Im editing MAME.xml and i notice that the tags/labels about manufacturer unknown are like this: <manufacturer>&lt;unknown&gt;</manufacturer> This will show this like... <unknown> instead of unknown But my question is, why not just put <manufacturer>unknown</manufacturer>? There is something that im missing about this?
phulshof Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Those tags are generally not edited, and come straight from the MAME -listxml output. You'd have to ask the MAME developers why they chose this format.
