What ROM file extensions do I enter for MAME for rocket Launcher?

I'm a bit confused on what to enter for file extensions in rocket launcher UI for MAME. I tried .zip for the roms but on the games tab when I hit the blue button, no games display in the list. Not sure what ext I"m supposed to be putting here? (edit emulator screen)

I would imagine "zip" is correct (no period). Or at least i have never seen mame with another compression.

Other than that, correct path to roms and wrong names can also cause that.
