To start- I am a beginner with Hyperspin/ Mame etc. Been toying around with it for several months, but I understand that i still lack a fundamental knowledge of the programming. I have been able to find solutions to my self created problems on various forums/ youtube videos, but this one has me stumped. I ordered the 2 player BYO kit from X-Arcade. I have that installed in an empty silver strike cabinet that i modified. I also ordered the trackball from them. I have that installed. Here's the issue. The trackball works perfectly fine in Windows and in hyperspin. But in Mame when I use it I get some kind of diagnostic screen with a series of numbers and letters at the top and left side of the screen. I do not have any other emulators configured for the X-arcade controls, so I don’t know if it is solely a MAME issue, but this is where I am seeing it now. I have attached a screen shot. The manufacturer is no help. They don’t know what the issue is. They don’t talk to you on the phone. Just send emails with links to their website. They took a 1 minute phone call and turned it into a series of 12 emails. I don’t see how that is a good use of their time. Anyway, I have uploaded a screen image of what happens. As I move the trackball around it eventually goes away, but it obviously prevents me from playing trackball games. Any thoughts?
