xpadder/8bitdo/rocketlauncher problem?

So I am experiencing an issue which I feel may be related to either xpadder or rocketlauncher more than anything else. Bought my self some 8bitdo controllers without the joysticks. LOVE THEM. Absolutely perfect for what I want to do. Problem is player one screws up some times and after realsing a button it sometimes get stuck. I have two controllers and this only seems to happen to player one. Also player one is the only one set up with an xpadder profile and I have my keys for the emulator set up through the emulator for the controller. Theory is that xpadder will register the hit and hold it. I actually caught it doing this one day outside of hyperspin. My question is, is there any way for rocketlauncher to turn off xpadder when an emulator starts playing a rom and turn back on when you exit back to hyperspin or is there another work around for this?

OK so found the issue was a firmware update for the controllers....However... I am now having huge HUGE issues with xpadder. First off, it always shows two controllers when I only want to map one. I can not figure out how to get rid of the second. Which brings me to the second issue. I go ahead and program both controllers and the dpads cancel each other out. All other buttons will work but the dpad. This seems to only become apparent when I switch from one controller screen to the next in xpadder or upon starting hyperspin. All I really need to know from here is how to make it so only one controller will show up in xpadder even when I have two.

What 8bitdo controllers have you got and do you have two identical running at the same time? I heard you must have one bluetooth dongle per wireless 8bitdo controller which if you ask me seems odd. Perhaps in you case they might be seen as a single instanced controller.

I'm planning to purchase two SN30 PRO and bluetooth dongle to replace my 2 aging wireless xbox360 controllers. I use hyperspin and mame and retroarch mainly on windows7 as well as xpadder.

Admittedly I got a little confused answering your post:

1) Can I connect two "8bitdo SN30 PRO" to a single "8bitdo Wireless USB Adapter"?

2) Do two indentical SN30 PRO show up as two different controllers in windows and xpadder, as they should, similarly to how xbox controllers are handled?

3) I suspect the 8bitdo Wireless USB adapter might be the better choice (it also says lag free under features which is promising). But What's the difference between the "Wireless USB Adapter" and the "Retro receiver"?

4) Can i otherwise connect two SN30 PRO to a single usb bluetooth dongle from other brands?

Many thanks!
Have a great weekend
Luca
