HyperSearch throwing error and not working

Hello,

HyperSearch seems a very good extension for Hyperspin, thanks for the idea.

Anyway, it is impossible for me to make it work. I follow the procedure and I only get a window with this error :

The machine is :

- Core i5 / 4GB

- Windows 7, 32 bits

- HS 1.3.2

Post your full hypersearch log.

Does this occur on startup or when your trigger the search window?

It is likely something with either your Main Menu.xml or one of the other Xml DBs. Some other people have reported similar problems, but they fixed it themselves by removing something from the xml DBs...I never got a chance to see what was "wrong".

Hello,

It already is the full log. The process is killed right after. It is at startup of the program.

All my XML are those provided in the HyperSpin Install zip + Hypersync updated XMLs.

My Hyperspin folder is G:\HyperSpin and HyperSearch is located in G:\HyperSpin\HyperSearch\HyperSearch.exe

Hope it helps, I really would like to use it.

Have a look here, this person had the exact same issue and fixed it by installing .net framework 4.5: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?32517-HyperSearch&p=313078&viewfull=1#post313078
