hyperBEN Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Hey all... So I know now that HyperSpin version 1.5.1 is safe to download and use on Windows 10 1803 (all you have to do is adjust your virus protection settings to ALLOW HyperSpin to run) but my question is will there be another version of HyperSpin to be released for this version of Windows (and future versions) that will not trigger these bogus false positives? We never had these problems before and I know it's just the way Windows 10 works these days but it would be really nice if the code to HyperSpin could somehow be adjusted so that these false positives aren't even triggered in the first place. That's all, thanks!
dark13 Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Most antivirus has flagged hyperbrite as "virus" for ages lol. Avira was also randomly flagging older version of hyperspin as "trojan" The problem TBH is with antivirus software itself: they don't really check the file, just see the software has a "dangerous" behaviour and says it's a virus -.- Probably sending the file for check saying it's not a virus should help in the long run...
