Hadeys
Hello, I've had some issues with Hyperspin recently regarding to Hyperspin losing focus when launching or exiting an emulator. For example, I have MAME set to launch via Rocketlauncher. If I attempt to launch a game, and then quickly hit exit, I will no longer be able to control Hyperspin until I grab a keyboard and Alt + Tab back to that window. The same thing happens if I exit an emulator and quickly attempt to relaunch it. I've tested with both 1 and 2 player controls, so I don't believe the issue to be related to the key mappings, which are all letters. Has anybody experienced this issue? gigapig
I would look for which program is stealing the focus as if may be something in the systray. Xpadder is a popular culprit.
Hadeys
Hm, I’m not using xpadder but I’ll find out what has focus when I get home tonight. Another strange thing is that sometimes I can still see MAME running, until you give it focus and then it closes immediately.
Hadeys
Ok so I checked this evening, but I can’t determine what is getting focus. As I said though, sometimes when I look at task manager I see two applications running; hyperspin and MAME. This isn’t always the case though, sometimes I can see hyperspin is the only application running, but it does not take any input until I click on the window. If I attempt to alt + tab over to MAME, it immediately closes. I noticed a property in the Rocketlauncher.ini called restore_front_end_on_exit, and tried to set its value to Restore and Click, but this seems to have no effect. Is this likely a bug in Hyperspin, or just something I’m experiencing due to how I have it set up? Thanks for the help!
