ghostbones Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Hello all, I've decided to include a Spectrum emulator to my wheel and I've chosen the emulator 'Spectaculator'. I have it all up and running not a problem at all, the problem is however that when the emulator loads a game up, as most people will know, there are a few seconds of the emulator where you can see the booting up screen before the game starts. I have tried to block this out by a fade but the screen can still be seen and it just makes it look messy, can any kind soul out there give me some advice as to how I can cover up the boot screen? I know that this is possible as there are a few videos online where this is done but after using a fade, I am not really sure what else could be done. Many thanks in advance.
gigapig Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Have you tried the "Hide Emulator" check box in RLUI?
ghostbones Posted December 25, 2018 Author Posted December 25, 2018 Hi, Thanks for the reply but its still visible. Am not sure what can be done about it, but other people must have found a workaround as its the most popular Spectrum emulator that exists and that is used for Hyperspin unless people just ignore it but it just looks really messy to me. Thanks for helping and Merry Christmas!
gigapig Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 Merry Christmas to you too. I will check mine after the festivities.
ghostbones Posted December 25, 2018 Author Posted December 25, 2018 That's very much appreciated thank you.
ghostbones Posted December 26, 2018 Author Posted December 26, 2018 Just thought that I would include a short video clip of the boot screen that I can't seem to hide, I've also tried delaying the fade to see if that would help but because the emulator runs in true fullscreen (I think), it just overlaps the fade. Many Thanks Boot Screen.mp4
