Ted1 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 I have purchased an arcade machine with hyperspin. After about six months of play, games won’t load and I get this error message. No help from machine supplier. Machine not connected to internet and I haven’t changed any settings.
Creezz67 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 it's looking for Joy2Key. Go to the path on your computer c:Users\ultracustomcabs etc... and put Joy2Key.exe and all of its other files in there if you have them and try again.
Ted1 Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 Cheers for the help. Being a computer noob a think I have followed path but cannot find utilities. This is as far as I have got.
Creezz67 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 If it worked previously, you should have joy2key on your system or no games could be controlled by the look of it. Once you find joy2key folder just copy and paste it to the path its looking for. (type joy2key in search box in windows explorer) to see if it finds it on your computer.
Ted1 Posted February 18, 2019 Author Posted February 18, 2019 Cheers for the help. Being a computer noob a think I have followed path but cannot find utilities. This is as far as I have got. This is what the windows search comes up with but I have no idea where to paste.
Creezz67 Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Look in Joytokey.log in future pinball to see if there is a joy2key.exe in that folder. If not it looks like it's gone maybe your anti virus quarantined it ?
Ted1 Posted February 19, 2019 Author Posted February 19, 2019 Thanks for all your help. Joytokey.exe is not there. Found nothing removed in windows defender. How do I get it back?
Creezz67 Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 unfortunately if its not there then all your controls are gone too. Did you say it once worked using Joy2key ? I can't see why it would just disappear if you did.
Ted1 Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Machine came all set up with games on computer. So I have no clue when it comes to setup.Spoke to guy I bought (brand new) from and he told me h3 doesn’t warrant software. Thanks for nothing. Used to play it on weekends, turned it on after about six months and error message appeared. I can still play pinball fx and pinball arcade. It is just hyperspin that doesn’t work.
Creezz67 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 As I say, unless you can find Joy2Key somewhere on your PC which should have the setup files you require, then there is not much you can do apart from set them all up again for any systems that you cannot control.
