I was waiting for this thing since 1985 :D

The c64 version has noticeable slowdown, it is better to use commodore 128 emulator in Vice or Retroarch. Using superCPU in Vice make thing even smoother BUT there are some graphical glitches time by time

After all these years it’s amazing to finally have a porter version of smb for the c64.. it was always a dream back then! To the point they had to do a conversation of Gina sisters which was cool at first but when a lot of people learned it was just a conversation of Giana sisters.. it kinda made it a bit lame.

it almost feels a little bit too late but nevertheless it’s finally on the c64!!

Nintendo is being Nintendo and being real anal about it as they always are but seriously in this case they really need to make an exception or at least work with the creators to make it available commercially for the c64 just to keep it alive.. granted the files are out there anyway but it would be nice to have Nintendo fall back on this one.

Obviously it's too late but nontheless having SMB on c64 makes me feel good :D

Giana Sister was a good game and honestly it was not just a rip-off of SMB, it had the same game mechanics but level design was quite different. Good but not as good as SMB.

Anyway to me the best thing in c64's afterlife has been ghost'n'goblins arcade, I always felt the original conversion was too lame. Missing levels and the main character resembling more a mummy than a knight.

Ah, nintendo is obviously going after the coder of this conversion. Nintendo sucks. BADLY...

Some people on the c64 Facebook group have started making their own original boxes and manuals/disks/carts for SMB 64. They even uploaded the images so others can producer their own.
