SimonPloumas Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Hello to everyone. I recently bought a hyperspin hdd which I played once but now I get a cannot find launcher message. I guess I didn't make the correct steps at some point. I'm a newbie at this and if someone could guide me I'd love you.
Rowr14 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Unfortunately this is the part where someone informs you you were scammed, as you might notice by the big public service announcement on this website that people selling hard drives are not affiliated. It's probably less a case of you not following steps and more a case of you being sold an incomplete mess. That said people here are willing to give you some pointers along the way to having a setup your happy with but your going to have to do the hard work for yourself. Search for hyperspin tutorial setup videos (avar and ninja2bceen) and go from there. Welcome and good luck!
SimonPloumas Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 I'm not sure this is a scam. It did work once. Now it shows the games and everything but when you try to start something it says cannot find launcher. Am I allowed to say the name of the company? I think I did something wrong.

You were sold something you get for free here which is made by developers and community contributions neither of who see a cent from that sale. That said most here will give the benefit of the doubt that you didn't realise before you bought it and assist where we can if you are interested in learning. All the info available to fix your current situation is available here. There are enough intricacies to the way Hyperspin and rocket launcher are setup that you will almost always have troubles installing something preconfigured and that's assuming the thing you were sold was setup correctly in the first place. There is no quick fix here where someone can magically tell you how to fix it without you taking a hard look at it to ask more specific problems. Your best bet is to watch some tutorials and learn how Hyperspin is setup so then you are familiar enough with how it works to recover what you have made the mistake of buying.
