Don's HS Tools Error

Hi.

I'm trying to use Don's Hyperspin Tools to parse down my mame xml list (only 1-2 players, etc) but I'm getting an error.

Here's what I'm doing:

- Running Filter Hyperlist.exe

- Selecting "Mame" for Hyperspin Wheel

- Selecting XML file for Hyperspin Source XML

- Clicking 'Scan' button

The error I'm then receiving is "Could not create a MAME list XML file.  Could not find mame executable "M:\HyperSpin\Emulators\MAME\mame64.exe -keyboardprovider dinput".

I've verified that is the correct path to the mame exe.

 

Any suggestions?

the mame list XML is what contains all the meta data 2player 4player Vertical Horizontal monitor

you   will not be able to do what you want to do without a MAME list XML.

 

I"m not sure Don's tools can create one from the MAME exe

you are better of creating one using this tool
