Arthar22 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Hi Friends, Just wanted to know if it's possible to create an arcade all by myself here at home?
Arthar22 Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 If it's possible I would like to add the whole procedure here on my website.
adamg Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Yes it is very much possible but this site may not serve your purpose as well as some others might. I would suggest looking at BYOAC at http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php That site as well as /Cade on reddit are more specifically orientated to actually building an arcade machine where as this site is for the software to run it.
Roadrunner Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 +1 for BYOAC. That place is fantastic and has everything you'd ever want to know on this hobby as well as many people who can walk you through the process. You can buy pre-fab kits or look to reno an old cab. In Toronto there's a great site for old cabs that can be used for Mame/HS projects. http://www.pinballexchange.com/ They can also do all the assembly for you as well. You'll also want to look at something like an IPAC to be able to connect the arcade controls to your PC. But all of this info is on BYOAC as well. Atari 2600 Theme Pack - Now Uploaded!
