tdspin Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 I'm running HS 1.5.1 on Windows 10. I just started using XBox 360 controllers and although they work fine in emulators (well at least with MAME still need to configure others) when I am scrolling through HS wheels the wheel speeds up and just keeps scrolling. If I go very slow through the wheels it seems okay but as soon as I keep the joystick pressed up or down, it keeps going. I read a couple posts that suggested to use the HyperSpin Startup Script which I did and it's still doing it. Any thoughts as to how to make this stop? Thank you.
Aorin Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Check if you have the Gamepad enabled under HyperHQ, if so, disable it, also open the script ini file and set the number of gamepads to 1, maybe it will be solve your issue. Aorin
tdspin Posted August 19, 2019 Author Posted August 19, 2019 But if I disable it I can't use the controllers to navigate HS which is what I am trying to accomplish. I did try btw to confirm my suspicion and I can't control HS with controller when it's disabled.

You need to disable the joystick under HyperHQ here: Then, in the Hyperspin Startup Script folder, which should be in the root hyperspin folder like this: Note: In my case the Scripts folder has actually only the Hyperspin Startup Script inside. Now open HyperSpin Startup Script.ini and see if you have your configuration like this: Aorin
tdspin Posted August 20, 2019 Author Posted August 20, 2019 Thank you. After editing the ini and doing a quick test it seems better. I will have to program the settings again for the buttons but I can do that and always disable it again and make a copy before I disable in case it wipes out any of the button mappings.
