boars Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Hi guys, I am very new to all this and as much as I get the jist of things Im a bit confused on the emulators in hyperspin. I am following Avar and his tutorials and have installed Hyperspin 1.5.1 and Rlauncher and have moved on to emulators. Now in Avars tutorial on this matter he says that there should be emulators installed already but when I go into the RlauncherUI and go to Emulators there are none. Do I have to download and install all emulators or should there be some already there. Sorry if this is a noob question but like I said very new to all this. thanks.
32assassin Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 the only thing Hyperspin is doing is hiding your PC environment the only thing RL is doing is launching and exiting your emulators. You need to download. install and configure all the emulators you want to run before you can use RL to launch your games. and by install and configure I mean that; you need to manually load a game into the emulator and make sure that all your controller buttons work. What Avar is probably telling you is that you can find a "pre Configured" emulator INI file for Rocketlauncher RocketLauncher\Settings\Global Emulators (Example).INI make a copy of Global Emulators (Example).INI and rename it so that you have RocketLauncher\Settings\Global Emulators.INI this will "INSTALL" a more accurate term is "CONFIGURE" all your emulators to work with Rocketlauncher (YOU need to update the emulator path for each emulator as we all place them in different folders). YOU STILL NEED TO INSTALL THE ACTUAL EMULATORS!!!!
