Game Wheel Problems

Hi Guys

New to the forum. Setting up my MAME cabinet and having some issues with Hyperspin. 

Hyperspin starts up fine and loads the emulator wheel just as it should. When I select an emulator it just reloads the emulator wheel again. Does not matter which emulator I choose.

I have had this system working before, had it stored away for a couple of years because of a move. So I know it worked before, just wondering what could be causing this.

Any help is appreciated.

If I had to guess, I would assume you are using a filter (roms only) in HQ and have not set a rompath and extension.

This is only needed when using a filter and note that you do NOT need to put executable path in there.

Thanks for the advice. Tried that but didn't work. Tried the harddrive one different PC and worked fine. Not sure what is causing the issue but it is definitely PC related. 

It is an older PC and was off for a couple of years. When i powered it up it had a BIOS error due RTC battery being dead and audio card is not recognized. Not sure if this has an impact.

I thought it may have been resolved in latest version of HS but yes! You did need to have some sort of speakers plugged in!
