However, im having an issue syncing the mame videos. Everything else for all other systems have synced the artwork, wheels and videos without issues. Mame however, seems to check the video folder, then move on without downloading anything. I have a lifetime membership at emumovies so I dont think that is the issue. It seems like its an issue with the server at emumovies but I cant be certain. All other content for mame downloads and is synced. After this error, it moves on to Nintendo and downloads everything without issues. Am I doing something wrong? Any insight you guys could provide would be awesome! raywalters Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 I'm sorry to disagree. I paid $45 to use Hypersync, as well as $45 to connect to emu-movies. You have to be a paid member to use these products. What others logs would you like? I was unable to locate any other log output except the one that I posted earlier. raywalters Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 For lack of a better term, the "stock" database that comes with the hyperspin install. I have made no modifications to it. Being more specific; I initiate a sync of MAME videos, the app checks to see if there is new media, it returns that there is no new media as of the current date and time. To be clear, I have no MAME videos downloaded or installed. Is there a setting that I am missing due to my unfamiliarity with the app? Every other system worked a dream with no errors. zerojay Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Try making a backup of your current database and then forcing HyperSync to sync the database and then try to sync MAME. The databases that come with Hyperspin installs is likely quite old. Whether or not that's the cause of your issue is difficult to say though, but it's worth a shot. raywalters Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 I'm wondering if the compression on the games is the issue. The ROM set I downloaded has the games in .7z extensions (7zip). I wonder if that is keeping the app from seeing the games and downloading the videos. Not sure if that makes sense though because all the wheels and game artwork on the main menu came in. So as a test I installed EmuMovie's Download Service Utility to download the MAME videos. Under "Available Media" there are several options. Sticking only to the four MP4 options, i discovered that some fail to download anything. These 2 options download nothing: Video_MP4 Video_MP4_HI_QUAL These 2 download fine: Video_Database_MP4 Video_System_Intro_MP4 So this might be an EmuMovies issue? Assuming HyperSync pulls from "Video_MP4_HI_QUAL" ? In any case, here's the log file from trying to sync MAME only on HyperSync. The backgroundWorkerRunSync_DoWork() error seems highly suspicious.
