ok I just got the ipac 2 for my bartop arcade and im so confused on how to get hyperspin to navigate please I really need help on exactly how to get this working I had a zin mo encoder and found tutorial for that to work but there were limits to what I can do for this now I have the ipac 2 encoder and I cant find a great tutorial on this encoder at all im lost for real.

their are pros and cos to using a joystick encoder such as the zin mo

and you will find pros and cons to using an Ipac

 

an Ipac 2 is a generic Keyboard encoder

you basically did this to a USB keyboard and connected an arcade button at the other end

Open Note Pad and press a button   the keyboard assigned to that button will be  typed in Note Pad.

Open HyperHQ  and map your keyboard keys to match your buttons

By default the Ipac is mapped to match MAME keys

click on the Installation tab
