The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyone around Sydney, Australia that could configure my Hyperspin. I have tried multiple times and nothing works. I have the emulators and the games. It just wont allow me to launch the emulators through Hyperspin. I'm willing to pay for the service.

Hello Endone,

As far as getting things "working", that's really quite simple. Follow this post to ensure you are connecting to RL:

* replace my path to RL with your actual path to RL obviously.

After that, anything that will launch through RL's game list (after audit) will run in HS.

The real time consuming part of any setup is all the artwork itself. And what kind of hardware you are using will effect this as well. Are you using a CRT monitor, generic 1080p PC monitor, or a 4k OLED TV? Are you using arcade type controls, xbox gamepads, or perhaps some pedestal option that incorporates both? Are you going to want to use bezels? How about Hypermarquee or LEDblinky? Do you want the fade-ins to display a graphic of what controls do what that match your controls? There are SOOO many personal choices that need to go into each setup. If you hang around these forums you will meet people who have been "setting up" for the better part of 2 years, LOL.

If you can find someone who will slap together something that "just works", all the power to you. But I guarantee it will feel much more rewarding to set it up exactly the way you want/envision it to be. Good luck! I will be around if you have any further questions... as long as the site holds up, hahahaha.
