CyrusMzRG Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Dear Folks: I write you because I have a problem I am not able to solve. When I lauch MAME on Hyper spin I have a bad image like the freq. is lower than it shoud be ( image flickers) and also the iamge itself and the colors are not good ( also similar like Scanlines). If I launch the games directly from mame emulator it works perfectly. Do you have any idea about whats going on and how to solve it? Thanks

Thanks If you are connected to RL properly, then launching from RL or HS should be exact same thing. Check these settings first:
CyrusMzRG Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 Thank for the reply. I checked what you suggested and is properly configured. i though launching MAME from RocketLauncher was good., sorry I have the same problem. Only playing mame directly from the mame emulator shows the image good. (No small flickering like the arcade monitor frequency dropped and also the image quality itshelf. is difficult to get a snap. But I will try to attach them.
CyrusMzRG Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 Update: I deleted the mame.ini and now launching from hyperspin this is what I see. Now it doesn’t flickers like the monitor frequency is too low but I see these horizontal lines
Spawk Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Ok, so despite whatever settings you've made in mame itself, you still need to tell RL what settings to use. You can do so by clicking the "edit global module settings" button here: These are all "default" in the pic because I am using RetroArch on this system, not mame. Normally I would suggest setting "Videomode" to "ini" but did you say you deleted yours?
CyrusMzRG Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 New update: Today I made a new Hyperspin setup on a different folder. I added only MAME, with the same emulator version, same ROM set which gave me the image error. I launched Mame from the new Hyperspin.... and EVERYTHING GOOS GOOD. I made photos of ALL HyperHQ, RocketlauncherUI (Global and mame strings) of my "WORKING Hyperspin"; I copied ALL of them into the "BAD" hyperspin and the image was still BAD. Finally I gave up and during all the morning I was configuring all emulators again from one Hyperspin to the new one. To be honest I cannot understand what happened with the "BAD" Hyperspin
