Lamaman1971 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Hi Folks, Finally got around to setting up HyperMarquee - which of course requires some jiggery pokery with LEDBlinky. Which is a bit unfortunate as now my LED buttons have, inevitably, stopped working in HyperSpin. Anyone got any ideas?
Lamaman1971 Posted July 14, 2020 Author Posted July 14, 2020 Ok, my mistake - got this sorted (user error!). Thanks for all the assistance.
abispac Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Hey bro, im sorry for breaking into your topic, but i was wondering, i just set up hypermarquee with hyperspin, all works well except , that when i close i game after i finish playing it, hyperspin looses focus and i have to press escape like for every image hypermarquee loaded, until the last one, and then hyperspin gains focus again. I did a test with hyperspin and mame in window mode and notice that for every game hyperspin wheel loads, hypermarquee opens the image of that game, so if i look at 20 games before chossing one in hyperspin, hypermarquee opens like those 20 images at the same time, so in order to have hyperspin gain focus again i have to press escape 20 times to closed each image. Its there an option im missing to prevent this? hope you can help. thanks.
schmucm Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Hey abispac, I had the same issue. HyperMarquee had a new window for every picture. I had the wrong type of IPC Method (inter-process communication). I had HyperSpin EDS set to CLI which initiates a new instance every time. Once I switched the IPC Method to Pipe, it kept the connection open and I only have one instance of Hyper Marquee now. Sounds like you are using HyperSpin directly. You might find a similar option.
