Hi i notice with some databases such as sega master system for example does not match with the no intro set anymore like it used to and hyperspin wont let me load any games but rocket launcher does 

 

ps is anyone else haveing this issue please let me know thanks regards les

There are 3 reasons for this:

1. No-Intro naming can change constantly:

  • When new dumps are done: For example when a new dump from a Japanese cart matches an existing dump, the region can change from (USA, Europe) to (World)
  • When there are mistakes in the naming which are corrected
  • When a new version of a game is dumped, an older dump could be renamed since a version is added to the filename

2. There is a difference between No-Intro naming and HyperSpin naming. No-Intro naming can use these tags: [BIOS flag] Title (Region) (Languages) (Version) (D evstatus) (Additional) (Special) (License) [Status]. HyperSpin only uses Title (Region)

3. HyperSpin databases are not maintained anymore, see HyperList
