Hi, I'm a newbie to hyperspin and have recently downloaded the latest version of Hyperspin (1.5.1).  I've upgraded to platinum and spent hours setting everything up with different emulators and downloading all of the video files via Hypersync to make it look great.  Absolutely everything was working fine, hyperspin opens, I can navigate through all the wheels, load games etc, all perfect.  Suddenly this morning, Hyperspin (and Hyper HQ) won't run at all.  I can see both of them in the task manager (so they are effectively running, but just not showing).  I can end task, re-run and the same thing happens again.  I've shut down and restarted my PC and still no joy.  They will show in the task manager but will not display at all. Any ideas as to how I fix this problem and get them displaying again?

OK, so I may have resolved this issue by reverting back to my previous version of Windows.  Everything is loading and working fine again so I can only assume the issue was caused by a Windows update?  

In which case, can anyone tell me if windows updates can cause these issues, and if that is the case, is there any way to resolve it without having to revert back to the previous version of windows?  (If windows update is the cause then I can imagine many users experiencing this very same problem (basically both HyperSpin and Hyper HQ were running as background apps only and therefore not displaying at all))

Hi, After a window update, Oct. 10 2020, Window 10,version 19041.508, I have a similar problem: hyperspin , hyperTheme, HyperHQ do not start anymore. I use the last hyperspin version.

I try to restart several times the computer, no effect. Sometime I can see hyperspin in the task manager, but not always, and hyperspin is not displayed. Do not know what to do.

It's still working in an other computer that have not yet updated windows.

@Creezz67 Thanks for this file, it fixed my hyperspin as well.  There a mailer or discord that would notify us when a windows 10 update would botch hyperspin again and where to download fix?

No, this is NOT an official fix.

If doing big update in future, just check here to see if anyone else has had issues.
