The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Use emulator controls instead of joytoKey

Hi - I've recently setup Rockerlauncher with both the Frontend and Rocketlauncher keymapper profiles (with Joy2Key).

I then ensured JoytoKey's default 'Profile 1' was configured the same as my Hyperspin profile.  This all works and I can control Hyperspin using my Xbox 360 wired controllers.

I have project64 setup for N64 emulation, but would prefer to use the emulator to configure my Xbox360 controls.  The problem is that upon launching project64, it appears that JoytoKey keeps running (Profile 1 appears to be loaded) and conflicts with my controller configuration in Project64.

Is there any way to disable the keymapper in Rocketlauncher for specific systems so that this doesn't happen or am I forced to create joytokey profiles in rocketlauncher for every emulator?

Many thanks

Cheers for the guide! - I shall have a look through now.

Also - When I'm configuring a system, should keymapper be set to enabled?  or is this not required as I'm using the emulators own controls?

Also - Pressing 'Esc' for Project64 doesn't actually close the emulator from memory.  Is there an alternative keyboard key I could use?

Many thanks for your help :)

Enable keymapper globally. Set to JTK.

Make a profile for every single system, even if there is only the exit command in each one for right now.

If an emulator absolutely refuses to close with "escape", you can try "alt+f4". That should close most windows apps.

Great stuff - Makes a lot more sense now!

Just want to say a thankyou to @Spawk for the fantastic guide.  JoytoKey now working wonderfully.  As far as setting an emulator exit key - I just opted to configure that through RL and left my JoyToKey system profiles blank.

Thanks once again!
