I have a mame.ini file, but HyperSpin Cannot Find It (HELP!)

All,

I created the MAME.ini file w/CMD and it is in my Hyperspin/Emulators/Mame folder.  However, when I open Hyperspin and try to select MAME from the wheel, I get a screen that says "Cannot find MAME.ini" (see screenshot).  I have no idea what to do and I can't find an answer searching online.  Anyone have any ideas?  I can select other emulators, but not MAME for some reason.

What type of romset (split, merged, or un-merged) are you using?

Mame version?

I'm not sure on type of romset. How can I tell?

Mame64.

Also, they worked until I used HyperSync to merge in the art/videos.  After I did that is when I started getting the "cannot find mame.ini" error.

Hmmm, that doesn't make sense. HyperSync doesn't change any launch parameters, it just grabs media.

Good that you use RL, maybe a "troubleshooting" log will tell us exactly what's up:

How do I set the log to "troubleshooting"? 

Also, MAME games launch just fine from RLUI, I only get that error in HyperSpin. Just an FYI.

That is a link to a post that says exactly how to set to "troubleshooting".

However, "runs from RLUI and not HS" means you are not connected properly. Check the settings in this post instead:

Thank you.  It was the last HL setting in Hyper HQ.  Appreciate the help.
