The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Randomly hyperspin stopped working one day and I received and error message saying hyperspin no entry point. Has anyone else ran into this problem and if so I could really use the help thank you

That error message comes from Windows not HS... and it's very "general". It could be anything. ntdll is a very commonly used file in Windows.

I would first make sure you have DX9c, .Net and possibly ALL (2005-2017) of the Visual Basic C++ runtime packages. Yes both the x64 and x86 versions even if you know your system is x64. Many programs were written for a specific runtime in mind. Installing all these is fine too, it will just give you a greater degree of support for any program written in C++. I don't think HS lists the VB runtimes as "dependencies" per se, but these types of setups are really usually a collection of programs all running together. RocketLauncher, EDS, Hypermarquee, LEDblinky, Hypersearch, HyperXMLspin, joytokey... having your system ready to run whatever you throw at it is always a good idea.

If you are still having problems you could maybe try Windows' "SFC scan". It will scan all the "system" files and make sure nothing is damaged. Another option if you are sure it was working on this very machine would be to revert to a previous "system restore point" from a date when you know that it was working.
