Hey Guys, I'm new to the scene, and was just wandering how to access/manage my M-Dos games within the file system directory of hyperspin, and whether I can add/remove more titles? When I go into roms or emulators in the file system, I can't seem to find MS-Dos anywhere?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Its called Microsoft MS-DOS in hyperspin.

You can add more titles to an existing database manually or create your own automatically by using a program like Dons hyperspin tools to scan your rom files.

Hi Pinsanity, thank you for messaging me back, I hope you're good. I checked the emulator folder in Hyperspin, and there was no folder called M-DOS in the file directory, but I definately have the games on the hyperspin wheel, so I really don't know why I'm unable to see the folder. Would it be called something else, by any chance? Also, do you know if there is any was to play old Windows 98 games through MS-Dos?

Thanks for your help mate.

I generally don't like helping people who bought drives, or simply did not set them up themselves. It's just often too difficult to explain all the nuances here.

1 - the emulator folder is a nice idea to keep everything tidy, but in reality the game files can be located anywhere. Check RL for the paths.

2 - the easiest Dos setup uses the set called eXoDOS. He is on V5 now (I still use V4).

3 - there use to be a set call eXoWIN as well but I have not looked at it in a while, last I heard he was planning on merging it with the eXoDOS set.

Youtube can help a great deal.
