Hyperspin wheel location

Hi guys

i just bought a new hyperspin standing arcade, all preloaded and working more or less fine

Unfortunately the company that i bought it from have a terrible after sales service and a few of the minor issues i managed to sort myself after watching hours of tutorials

i am not finding the answer to this issue im having though…….

my hypersin wheel has been set up differently as to what i see normally on tutorials. I have the option to either look through all games or to select genres. The genres are split into fighting, soccer, boxing, etc 

one genre is All Mame, when i click on it, hyperspin closes, saying mame.xml invalid

i wanted to go in to delete the All Mame option, but when i look at Main Menu.xml, its completely different (split into consoles). I checked through loads and loads of xml files and couldnt find the one which hypedspin is using to show the wheel (even found a genres.xml, but it had loads more genres than what i am actually seeing within hyperspin )

my question is, can i see the path to the cml file somewhere in hyperhq or rocketlauncherUI? If i could find out which xml its using, i would already be one step forward

 

after that im sure i will have more questions, but this issue is the main one i have been researching for the last few days

I'm assuming the system name is MAME:

Hyperspin\Databases\MAME\genre.xml

Edit genre.xml

Remove line with "All MAME"

That worked, thank you so much (easy for the experts)

 

the reason i was thrown off and didnt already try that (i had previously found the genre.xml) was because it doesnt match my wheel exactly

there are categories listed in genre, the xml files are there, but they dont show on the wheel (for example All Mame.xml is in there)

how can i go about adding some of these categories and why would All Mane.xml not show?

Cant add video, but only around half of these categories are in the wherl
