Capa Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Just wondering if the themes created with hypertheme can be uploaded or get automatically uploaded to the server straightnfrom hypertheme? Also can themes then be download directly within hyperspin with the option to pick which theme if multiple are available for a certain game or system. Didn't see that shown in the new demo videos.
jesfknkrys Posted August 22, 2025 Posted August 22, 2025 Yes, HyperTheme for Hyperspin 2 is web based so they are all stored on the Hyperspin cloud.
rondar Posted August 22, 2025 Posted August 22, 2025 When you download a new theme from Hypertheme, it will apply it in HyperHQ (to be played in Hyperspin) automatically. Within HyperHQ, you can change to a different theme by clicking "Apply" on the theme in the Media tab. There is not currently a way to switch themes directly from within Hyperspin. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Capa Posted August 31, 2025 Author Posted August 31, 2025 Is there per game startup and pause themes as well?
t01anderson Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Hi, is it possible to create and save locally? Or is it always stored in the cloud? Because the local folders point to the storage of themes and media, but the created files are in folders with random and repeated names/codes. Exemple:
Circo Posted June 5 Posted June 5 You are not meant to play with that part of the file system, you can manage your installed themes in hyperhq media tab and hypertheme website to install themes. The game needs to be present in hyperhq for the theme to show up in hyperspin. Game theme folder in the overrides folder was flagged to be removed I believe to avoid this type of confusion @fr0stbyt3 1 ___________________________________ HyperSpin Website Admin Team Also Visit EmuMovies.com
cynicalmatt Posted Saturday at 09:50 PM Posted Saturday at 09:50 PM Another question regarding themes: say you have a standalone region-specific set, like "sfau" (Street Fighter Alpha, US). HQ detects the game and HS2 plays it just fine, but it won't pair the theme - presumably because it's named for the parent set, "sfa". Is there a way to apply themes from the parent to these standalone/clone sets if you don't have the parent? 1
