No Media/Themes show up. HS 2.0

Hello. I have a problem with the latest Hyperspin 2 install, I installed HQ (on Drive E:) and Hyperspin but i get a blank screen when HS boots up. I have tried reinstalling plugins, i have tried deleting the cache, i have tried uninstalling HQ and deleting leftover folders. Fresh install dont solve it. 

So i moved to my other computer, lets call it computer number 2. Did install HQ at preset path (C:), HS was working! . wanted to try have it on another drive so i deleted everything. installed it again on Drive D; Got the same problem again on this computer also. Uninstalled and tried to install it in the working preset path at drive C:, Same problem, HS not working for me anymore on my 2 computers. 

So when i launch HS the loading bar stops just after it says Loading Wheel then jumps directly into HS, 

Can anyone point me how to use logs for this matter? or if you have any other ideas?

@Hald2kWe had this alot in testing.  It's a byproduct of different media systems.  This is a good time for fresh install, and by fresh I mean all the way fresh.  Go into c:/users/username and delete the .HyperHQ and .HyperSpin folders etc.   Then when you reinstall its going to build 100% new databases etc.  

I think this is the full list, havent had to do it in awhile now.

1. c:/users/username/appdata/roaming/HyperHQ
2. c:/users/username/appdata/roaming/HyperSpin
3. c:/users/username/.HyperHQ
4. c:/users/username/.HyperSpin

I think that this is everything and you shouldn't have to do this again in the future.

Hey! ive tried uninstalling and then deleting the folders of the four locations you mentioned, Did a fresh install but it still wont show any themes.
im on 

Hyperspin App version: 2.0.65

Hyper HQ v2.0.121

These are my first installs. i havnt been able to try Hyperspin 2 once :(.

I sent a note to the dev team to come take a look at this. Couple of questions:

1. What systems do you have installed in HyperHQ?
2. Are you seeing any related errors in the log viewer?  (See Below)

Best to get some details to troubleshoot this faster.  

Since it wasn't mentioned, until you have setup a System in HQ nothing will populate in HyperSpin.  IE, if you did a fresh install and then went to hypertheme and clicked download on the snes theme, it wouldn't populate. The system and games need to be set up and then the default theme will populate and that can be changed in HyperTheme.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you see in the systems/game view of Hyper HQ?

EDIT: Spoke with @fr0stbyt3 and he discovered that logging for HyperSpin is disabled in error, and though there is a checkbox to enable it, that is in the wrong place (beta problems) .

@Hald2k We're looking into this. In addition to making sure you have at least one system installed, there is a process that runs that makes sure the cache gets built before first run. Depending on the speed of your system this can take up to a minute. Try a smaller console just to get you going and see if it works. 

Last, can you verify you have media showing in the media tab in HyperHQ?

Are these Folders supposed to have media files? all of them only contain one file each. And that is a .txt file named _Place_Override_Media_Here, not just in the Snes folder, Even the Hyperspin Default Theme folder is empty. 
i am logged in to Emumovies but i am standard member, do i need to be Platinum (or their counterpart) for everything to work?

Can i try to manually move a theme inside these folders? Kind Regards John

Alright, got it working! tried Supernintendo this time. downloaded an emulator and set a rompath inside.  Thanks everyone! Still a bit confused but i will learn.

That text file that says put override media here means just that.  Any media you put there will replace the default media that comes from EmuMovies.  Everything HyperSpin downloads goes into the HSM folder and is not user editable
