JohnnyChimpo Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I have most systems loaded into HQ now, and it's coming along great! For some reason I can't get Sega Genesis to configure correctly. I set it up like the other systems, retroarch as the emulator, but then it scans the rom folders and no games show up. Anyone else have this problem with Sega?

JohnnyChimpo Posted Friday at 02:43 PM Author Posted Friday at 02:43 PM Should be... i set it up the same as the other systems.
JohnnyChimpo Posted Friday at 03:13 PM Author Posted Friday at 03:13 PM Same problem for Sega 32X. Also couldn't get 32X to run with Retroarch (asked for BIOS, I dropped them in but HQ didn't like the BIOS files). Set it up with Kega Fusion
JohnnyChimpo Posted Saturday at 08:35 AM Author Posted Saturday at 08:35 AM I quit and relaunched HQ and Sega and 32X populated all the games. No dreamcast yet but encouraging!
rudealleycat Posted Sunday at 06:18 PM Posted Sunday at 06:18 PM Remember sometimes a restart of the app and computer helps. Other things to keep in mind is make backups and/or if you hit a wall you can't get past you might want to re-install HyperHQ/HyperSpin.

Perhaps a dumb question but if I re-install HyperHQ/Hyperspin do I need to start over from scratch on loading all systems and games? Also, best way to reinstall? It's now not launching any games from any emulator. Starts to open then closes and gets stuck on spinning wheel. I wanna try a re-install. Thanks. 1
dreamw Posted yesterday at 07:23 AM Posted yesterday at 07:23 AM I have the same problem. The game also closes at startup along with the screen with the spinning circle. So I have a question: maybe you need to configure the cores and ROM sets in RetroArch first? Or should everything work after using the setup wizard that's in HyperHQ? Sorry for my English..
JohnnyChimpo Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago When I launch games within HyperHQ it starts to launch retroarch, then crashes. When I launch a second time it runs. Launching in Retroarch outside of HyperHQ the games launch fine. In Hyperspin it does the same open then crash, but it hangs up Hyperspin and I have to force quite it. Tried to uninstall but did not delete the systems, games etc. Reinstalled. No luck... wondering if I should report as a bug?
