symplistik Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Hey guys! My problem is once I have a Visual Pinball table open via Hyperlaunch exiting back to the hyperspin wheel. Even when you exit Visual Pinball it continues to run in the background. I need a fix so i can one key exit from Visual Pinball back to the hyperspin wheel without also needing a confirm exit window. Anybody out there that can help would be greatly appretiated.
32assassin Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 if you are using vp 9.21 or above you need to: go to Preferences --> keys : look for "Disable ESC key" make sure you have a check next to it. when you launch a VP table OUTSIDE of Hypespin; you will have to hit the "Q" to exit the table. you will still need the confirm exit window. when you launch a VP table INSIDE of Hyperspin; you will exit the table with the key(s) defined in hyerplaunch. And yes the confirm exit window will be gone.
symplistik Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 I am using vp 9.15 so this did not work for me. Other suggestions?
32assassin Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 you need to upgrade to at least version 9.2.1 the majority of tables that are being released lately only run on VP 9.9.0 I have 3 versions installed in my system, given that some tables need to run on a specific version. 9.2.1, 9.9.0 and physicsmod5 if you insist on using such an old outdated version open HyperlaunchHQ click global system click on the Modules tab select the Visual Pinball Module look for the icons under the "Installed Modules" tab click on the 3rd from the right "Edit Global Module Settings" in the settings tab set EscClose = True ShowDMD = True ValidateDMDLaunch = False UpdateDefaultDMD = Flase

I followed this exactly step by step but did not solve the issue. Hyperlaunch esc (mine are set for ~1 & ~2) keys still do not work. It still makes me use the default "E" key and still has a confirm to exit window. EDIT: I have upgraded to 9.2.1 but the problem continues...
32assassin Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 some people did not have to change the module settings others had different settings, you might need to modify them and see if anything changes http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?26612-Issue-with-Visual-Pinball-tables-with-no-DMD&highlight=visual+pinball disabling ESC in Visual Pinball should work for version 9.2.1, you should try to change your ~1 & ~2 back to the default ESC to see if that is the problem. and I hope you are using the Hyperlaunch version 3.0.1.1 and VP module 2.0.1
