Demul lag and sound issue

hi guys trying to get demul to work but its really lagging and the sound is bad any ideas? here's my specs Radeon hd 6670 amd athlon x4 750k quad core cpu

16gb ddr3 ram.

You need to change something in demul emulator settings, away from my cab so can't tell you which setting but I had lag and sound stutter when I began setting mine up.
