When playing mame and entering tab controller set is that the best way or is there a way for all the different games have xbox controller

if you go to your mame folder you will find this folder

\MAME\ctrlr\

inside you will find multiple CFG files. the config files are for various controllers.

You can actually assign a custom controller (such as a Xbox 360) to mame.

You can make your own custom controller config file

or

get one that is already made for you.

(note that this file is 4 years old, their might be better ones out their)

read carefully it will tell you how to download and install the CFG file into mame.

Got a file here for mame XArcade+XBOX360x4.cfg everything I have been reading about this file says save it as CFG still shows as text anyone tried this file before bit old but sounds great
