proaudiosoft Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Hello all, hope someone can help me before i pull all my hair out. I recently built a custom bartop arcade and decided to go with hyperspin vs the usual and boring maxmus arcade. Thank god most of my work (knock on wood) is done. Just having an issue with creating a .154 romset xml. I would love to be able to create and filter a list to my needs. I found hyperlist online and decided it looked decent and easy enough (since not having any success with hypertools). I export text of rom names in hyperhq, then copy and into hyperlist (using the radiobutton for the method of course.). Problem is it generates an XML with zero roms, just the header info is in the file: <?xml version="1.0"?> <menu> </menu> Thats all I get. Can anyone please give me the best method for making a custom 154 xml with zero clones. Thank you in advance.... -Theresa
nathan1974au Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 look up brolly's xml here: http://hyperlist.hyperspin-fe.com/ or what i do is download xml from database and set your roms to parent only in hyperhq thats what i do on mine! (Midlife crisis) some have hot rods, some have gold chains, I have arcade machine with hyperspin.
proaudiosoft Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Thanks, I will try parent and see what results I get. I am just afraid I will be filtering too much. Has anyone had success using the "ROM" wheel filter? I would love to use that, seems it just reverts back to the main-wheel then. Just curious if its a bug, or if something is wrong. I seem to have a data entered correctly. I saw another person with a similar post, they said they straightened it out, but didn't say how sadly.
Agrajag Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 If you use ROMs Only, you have to set your rom path and extension in HyperHQ. HyperSpin behaving oddly?
