SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Well after the posts I read about with Upchurch involved I liked to read about how people would like to have something else to watch with updates etc or news on HS releases/updates. To start with I was thinking of doing a from the very start... Hyperspin setup... warts and all. By no means am I an expert at setting anything up. In fact most of my setups have been either blind luck or much help taken from these here forums. Thats what makes this so interesting. I know the basics and maybe a lil more with some systems, but it could help bind all the guides etc together and could be a little fun. I already have a working version which Im more than happy with. So I was thinking of making this a more interactive community built setup. With the art etc decided by everyone with the help of everyone. I just click record and setup HS from the very start and show everything, warts and all. That way people can talk about what works, whats best, new ideas and what they think is the best setup for them all. I have no interest in keeping it, just learning from it and maybe helping others with issues, art choices, new ideas or even just entertainment from me getting it wrong all the time. At the end, when we think its finished we give it away as a prize or something useful... maybe for charity... I dunno. I have some spare drives hanging around so i dont mind it at all. Im thinking of trying some new stuff with this. Maybe the multiwheel. So hyperspin, within hyperspin. Maybe set this up in Phases... all consoles... handhels... arcade... computers etc etc etc. Maybe choose new artwork or themes. Bring new Emus into the place and solve problems togther. be nice to see what the community and me come up with as we go along. Well thats me. Will try and give it a start tomoz and see where it goes. If you have any ideas or would like to be involved give me a shout. Just trying to help Simply Austin's YouTube
Fromlostdays Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Trying to get all the guides together is a worthy endeavor but quite a hassle. A lot of the best information is actually found within threads. I do think a video set up from start to finish is also a worthy endeavor. The bad part is that no one wants to watch an hour long video to find information about something specific. So my suggestion is to break these videos up into smaller segments. Maybe give yourself a time limit of 5 minutes per video, and tackle one aspect at a time. I would have done this a while ago if I knew how, and its a great idea. Walter:beerglass:
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 HAHA yeah, i aint going to smash it all in one, prob break down into sections, then ask what people would like to see or do next with the build, it will take some time but then people could see problems and solutions plus maybe something new to those of us who have systems already Simply Austin's YouTube
